Frequently Asked Questions

Everything people ask before they hand us the gate. If yours is not here, text us; a person replies 8am-8pm Pacific.

Before the visit

Does someone need to be home?

No. Most customers are at work. We need a way into the yard on your day: an unlocked gate, a gate code, or a key arrangement you set up with us by text. You will get a message when the visit is done.

Can my dog stay in the yard?

Friendly dogs can stay outside if you tell us in advance. If a dog is unsure about us, we text you and come back another day rather than push it. Please keep protective dogs inside during your service window.

How do you get through a locked gate?

You give us the code or a key arrangement during booking. Gate codes are stored encrypted, shown only to the person doing your visit, never included in notifications, and deleted within 30 days after service ends. We never climb fences or force a gate.

What if the yard has not been cleaned in a while?

For a typical yard with 1-3 dogs, the first heavy cleanup is $49 when you start weekly service, instead of $89. One-time cleanups are $89 for up to about a month of buildup. Heavier yards, 4+ dogs or lots over a quarter acre start at $129, confirmed by text after a quick photo.

Service day

What happens in bad weather?

Light rain: we work. Dangerous weather (storms, flooding, a heat advisory): we text you and make the visit up within the same week. We never silently skip a yard.

How do I know the visit happened?

You get a text when the yard is done, with a photo of the latched gate once photo confirmations are switched on for your route. If we ever miss your scheduled day without rescheduling with you, that visit is free.

Where does the waste go?

Double-bagged into your own outdoor bin. Nothing is left in the yard and nothing is hauled around in our car.

What if you cannot get in?

We text you from the driveway and wait a few minutes. If we still cannot get in, you are not charged. After a second access problem, future service pauses until you confirm access.

Billing and plans

Is there a contract?

No contract and no signup fee. Cancel or skip any week by text up to 8pm the day before your visit, with no fee. The $49 first cleanup assumes you are planning on about four weekly visits, but if you stop sooner we do not bill you for the difference.

How does billing work?

After every completed visit, one Stripe Invoice is created and collected automatically from your saved payment method. The paid Invoice and receipt arrive by email. Skipped, cancelled, and inaccessible-yard visits are never charged. The month-end summary is informational and has nothing due. Monthly figures on the site are estimates based on 4.33 weeks.

Can I leave a tip?

Yes, after a paid visit you may leave a separate one-time tip of $5, $10, $15, or a custom amount. Tips are optional, never preselected, never added to the service Invoice, and never repeat automatically.

What does the $89 one-time cleanup include?

The full accessible yard, up to about one month of buildup, 1-3 dogs, a standard suburban lot up to a quarter acre, waste double-bagged into your bin and tools disinfected before the next yard. Heavier buildup, 4+ dogs, larger lots or anything that is landscaping rather than waste removal starts at $129 after a photo.

What if I go on vacation?

Text us and we skip those weeks. Holds of up to four weeks keep your rate and your route slot; after a longer hold you can rejoin at the current published rate.

What if I add another dog?

Tell us before the next visit and the new published rate applies from then on. $25, $30 or $35 a visit for one, two or three-plus dogs.

What if I am outside the service area?

Join the route waitlist with your email and ZIP. We add ZIPs as nearby routes fill, and we email you when yours opens.
